Lahpet Covent Garden is the second London restaurant of the Burmese brand Lahpet, following the success of Shoreditch. Milco managed and coordinated the design and build of the project, assembling and directing the delivery team of contractors, M&E specialists, joiners and health & safety consultants, and delivering the restaurant on programme and within budget.
The interior brings the Lahpet identity to a new building in Covent Garden: terrazzo flooring, fluted timber joinery, a copper-topped bar with pink tiled front, reeded-glass screens in black steel frames, a feature wall in aged copper with wire pendant lights, and a canopy of hanging greenery above the dining room. The fit-out was delivered within a new-build shell, coordinating joinery, tiling, M&E and lighting installation to programme.
