BRUNELLO CUCINELLI – SLOANE STREET

BRUNELLO CUCINELLI - SLOANE STREET

Raffaello Fair Ltd was appointed by Valor Architects to deliver the construction management of the Brunello Cucinelli flagship store at 20–22 Sloane Street, London and, starting from the client’s concept and design drawings, produced the RIBA Stage drawings used to build it. Raffaello Fair sourced and assembled the delivery team, selecting the general contractor and M&E subcontractors, developed the details for the flush, frameless concealed doors and played an active role in identifying and sourcing suppliers.

The most demanding element was the feature ceiling at the entrance: a mirrored ceiling set within a timber coffered frame. With sprinkler heads and lighting integrated across the whole surface, the installation had to be set out to a tolerance of just a few millimetres. The retail area is on the ground floor, with back-of-house spaces across the ground floor and mezzanine, and clay-based wall and ceiling finishes, timber and stone flooring and bespoke fixtures reflect the brand’s understated Italian craftsmanship. The project was delivered in just three months.
