Axtell House is a landmark stone-fronted building on the corner of Warwick Street in Soho, London. Milco Di Gaetano was construction manager and site manager for general contractor Expo Crew Ltd on the 15,000 sq ft (c. 1,400 m²) fit-out for VF Corporation, creating a combined office and showroom space for its international brands, including The North Face, Timberland and Kipling. The project was designed by designlaboratory.
Each brand has its own showroom zone with curved oak joinery, integrated display shelving and large video walls, alongside a timeline wall, sample stations, a VIP buying room and meeting spaces. The reception features black-framed glazed partitions and a black feature ceiling. New ceiling rafts with concealed lighting, bespoke joinery and all services were coordinated within the existing building to a tight programme.
