Lahpet Shoreditch was the first London restaurant of Lahpet, the Burmese restaurant brand. Milco acted as project manager and construction manager for the fit-out, working with interior designer Natalie Weavers and general contractor Contrast Interiors Ltd, and coordinating the design team, trades and suppliers from strip-out to opening.
The interior combines a curved bar with a copper top and reclaimed timber front, suspended planters above the bar, timber-clad columns and ceilings, patterned floor tiles alongside oak flooring, and an open kitchen facing the dining room. After opening, Lahpet was featured by Condé Nast Traveller among the best restaurants in London.
