Milco was construction manager for the Versace flagship store on New Bond Street, one of London’s most prestigious luxury retail streets, working with local architect Valor Architects and general contractor Clements Retail. He coordinated the site from strip-out to handover, managing trades, services and the installation of the brand’s bespoke fixtures.
The store is finished to an exceptional standard: marquetry wood flooring laid in a sunburst pattern, Calacatta marble feature walls, a backlit blue-marble shoe salon, polished brass shelving and display cases, and velvet lounge seating. A linear lighting ceiling ties the spaces together, and every detail had to be coordinated precisely with the brand’s specialist suppliers from Italy.
